Linda Ullstam, age 77, of Indianapolis, passed away February 12, 2018 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was born in Iowa on March 21, 1940 the daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth (Graff) Metz. She earned a bachelors of science degree from Indiana University in Biology with a minor in Education. Linda taught in the Indianapolis Public School system for two years before leaving the workforce to devote her time to raising her family.
She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Delta Gamma Sorority; she enjoyed traveling, especially to Colorado to visit her son and South Carolina to visit her daughter; she was an avid reader of mystery novels, and was a volunteer for many church, school and Girl Scout activities over the years.
Linda will be lovingly missed by her beloved husband of 55 years, Donald Ullstam; daughter, Amy Beto (Dan) and son, Donald R. Ullstam, Jr.; grandchildren, Chad Phelps and Joe Beto; and her brother, Tony Metz, III (Carol).
Family and friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave., Indpls. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the funeral center. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
