Linda Towler Cox Langford

Linda Towler Cox Langford age 69, passed from this life into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2021, after a hard and brave battle with cancer.

Linda grew up on the eastside of Indianapolis, along with her sister, Kaye, and raised by her loving parents. Linda loved helping with vacation bible school at her family’s church during the summers.

Linda attended School 68, Tech High School, and Indiana University where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and taught art in public school for over 30 years.

Linda was married to Stephen (Steve) for nearly 14 years and lived happily on the southside of Indianapolis until her passing, peacefully at home.

She enjoyed shopping, nice dinners out with Steve, playing her piano, and beach vacations.

Linda leaves behind her husband Steve, sister Kaye, extended family in Texas, California, Indiana, North Carolina, and many wonderful friends whom she loved and adored. Linda’s best friend Diane from childhood, was able to spend time with Linda and her family during her final week, a real blessing. Linda was known for her wonderful smile, cheerful personality, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Arrangements are in the care of Flanner Buchanan–Washington Park East.
