Linda Sue Snowden, Indianapolis, Indiana, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 1st. Linda was born on February 8th, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Cornelius and Jeannie Wadsworth. Linda attended George Washington High School and soon after met the love of her life, now deceased, Charles Snowden. Chuck and Linda were wed in 1959. Linda was a stay-at-home mom for several years and later on dabbled in a few different careers ranging from working with babies in a hospital setting to administration work and then finally found her niche in Customer Service as a manager at Wood-Mizer.

Survivors include her children, Brad (Lynda) Snowden, Kim (Jeff) Newnam. Linda has 8 grandchildren: Jamie (Lee), Nikki, Carter, Isaac (Jyn), Kayla, and Ross. Linda also has 7 great-grandchildren: Hayden, Jeremiah, Leighton, Lilly, Brecken, Addy, and J.R.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Chuck, her parents, and her 3 siblings, Lois, Richard and Jim.

Linda will be missed by so many people. Her family and her friends were very important to her. Linda was very active throughout her life. She played softball on the Church softball team for many years and was a great pitcher. She and Chuck were active members of Chapel Rock Christian Church and together they went on a few mission trips. She loved watching and/or just being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whether it was at a sporting event, school events or just at a family gathering. She also treasured her time working at Wood-Mizer. So many of her co-workers became like family. In retirement she and Chuck had a condo in Florida and loved spending time with her Florida friends and the warmer weather. Linda had strong faith in God and was eager to be in heaven with Chuck and many other loved ones that preceded her in death.
