Linda L. Payne

Linda L. Payne of Indianapolis died January 28, 2018 at the age of 65.

Linda was born January 9, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late George and Jane Koorsen.  She spent her career working in accounts receivables for various companies but mostly enjoyed her later career as the owner of Linda’s Pet Sitting Service.  Growing up Linda loved horses and her love of animals only continued into her adult years being a pet mom to many furry family members most recently Marley, Bailey and Bruno. She will be remembered for her generosity and for opening her home and her heart to anyone in need.

She is survived by her son Nicholas S. Payne; brother Randy Koorsen; Nieces and nephews Scott, Kelly, Brian and Keith; great-nieces and nephews Ryan, Taylor, James, Lucas, Kennedy, Samuel, Bryson and Braxton; and her cousin who was like a sister Debbie Rosselot.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda L. Adkins and her great-nephew Brian Koorsen II.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, February 7 from 2 to 4 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd North Dr, Indianapolis with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4 PM.
