Linda Joyce Turner

Linda Joyce Turner, age 72 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday evening, May 7, 2023.

Linda was born on April 30, 1951 in Indianapolis.

Linda is survived by her husband of 35 years: Thomas Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Her daughter: Dawn (husband John) Janssen of Freetown, Indiana.

Her sons: Thomas Turner Jr. and Brandon Louis Turner, both of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Six grandchildren: Taylor Shelly, Lysci Kendall, Jacob Shelly, Caleb Shelly, John Janssen and Anna Quinn.

Five great grandchildren: Karsyn, Magnolia, Ty, Lilah, and Lilly.

Many other relatives also survive.

She is preceded in death by one son: James “Clay” Shelly who passed away on June 9, 2011.

Linda was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan who loved taking care of her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her fur babies.

Linda enjoyed going to the casinos to play her slot machines, and she loved to cook & bake for her family.

She also greatly enjoyed camping and Nascar races.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.

The funeral service for Linda will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 12:00 Noon also at the Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.

Jerry Burke, brother of Linda will officiate.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
