Linda Darlene (Eversole) Britt, age 76 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday afternoon, March 17, 2025.

Linda was born on December 11, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the youngest of Frank and Fannie (Inman) Eversole.

Linda was married to John Britt for 57 years before he preceded her in death on January 15, 2024.

Linda is survived by her four children: daughter Cindy (Kevin) Kuipers of Fishers, IN, daughter Dawn (Robert) Parker of Greenfield, IN, son John (Molly) Britt of Mooresville, IN, and son Joe (Margie) Britt of Mooresville, IN.

Nine grandchildren: Michael (Katie) Parker of Florence, KY, Christopher (Jenna) Parker of Greenfield, IN; Nathan Kuipers of Indianapolis, IN, Hannah (Nick) Stuck of Indianapolis, IN, Emily Britt of Mooresville, IN, Nicholas Kuipers of Indianapolis, IN, Laney Britt of Mooresville, IN, Austin Britt of Mooresville, IN, and Luke Britt of Mooresville, IN. And two great granddaughters Felicity Parker & Gwendolyn Parker.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Mildred) Eversole of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny (Wanda) Britt of Indianapolis, IN, and her sister-in-law, Sandy Britt of Indianapolis, IN. And numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members and relatives.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents Frank & Fannie Eversole, and her brother, Kenneth Eversole.

Linda grew up in Indianapolis, IN and attended Manual High School, Class of 1966.

Linda loved the Lord, her family, fishing, camping, the Chicago Cubs, IndyCar (especially A.J. Foyt), talking to her family and friends, and karaoke. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed going to the track and hanging at A.J.’s garage. Qualifications at Indy was one of the best days of the year. She was so excited to get to the track early and save a spot for all of her family and friends. She was a little league team mom for many, many years at Eastside Little League and loved the Little League kids. She loved playing games and spending countless hours with her family. We know she loved her family more than anything and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM also at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center.

The funeral service for Linda will follow at 2:00 PM. Pastor Ellery Hunsley of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple will officiate.

A private burial will be held at Washington Park East Cemetery where Linda will be laid to rest with her husband John David Britt.
