Lillian H. Reynolds

Lillian H. Reynolds, 81 of Carmel, passed away peacefully Monday, January 2, 2023. Lillian was born September 4, 1941 in Gary, IN to the late Albert and Hazel Sherowsky. She was a 1959 graduate of Edison Senior High School in East Gary, IN and a 1961 Gary Business College graduate. She immediately began working at ANCO wiper blades as an executive assistant and saw many transitions of the company to eventually become Federal Mogul Wiper Products. She was with this company for 46 years at which time she retired and relocated to Carmel, IN to be closer to her family.

Lillians greatest joy in life was creating fond memories with her family, especially her grandsons. She loved being present for their accomplishments, celebrating holidays, treating everyone to eating out or just spending time together. Lillian emanated love to all those around her and that same love will be remembered and shared with the world by all that knew her.

Lillian was an active member at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church serving as a eucharistic minister and liturgical reader. She also loved serving her community by performing both of these roles for several area nursing homes.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, January 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 13th at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Kristine & son-in-law Randy Surette; grandsons, Jake Surette (fiancée, Hannah), Nick Surette (husband, Andrew) and Josh Surette. As well as her brother, Dr. Ronald Sherowsky (wife, Kathleen). She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Sherowsky.
