Lester Laverne Russell

Lester Laverne Russell, 72, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife of eighteen years Linda Russell and children Kevin Russell and Jennifer Russell. He was also preceded in death by his wife of thirty-two years Bonnie Russell. He is survived by his children Christopher Russell and wife Angie Bennet and children, Sharon Wortman and husband Thomas Wortman and children, Thomas Russell and wife Analyn Russell and children and Scott Russell and children. He had thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Born and raised in Indianapolis, the son of Earl and Katherine Russell and brother to Joe Russell, Millie Parrish, Van Russell, Dennis Russell, Brenda McCall, and Bill Russell. He was a retiree of the U.S. Army/Indiana Army National Guard of twenty-four years and a retiree of General Motors of thirty years. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
