Leslie Kay Low of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on March 8, 2020.
A passionate teacher and lover of music, Leslie was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on July 20, 1950, to David D. and Kathreen N. Low of Schererville, Indiana.
Leslie attended Munster High School graduating in 1968 where she starred in numerous musical productions. She continued her education and love of music at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana through 1971, majoring in voice and minoring in piano education.
Her love of singing and piano was carried through to her many students that she taught both traditional & Suzuki methods for 52 years. Thirty-five of those years were in the Carmel & Westfield area where she founded Encore Music Studio from her home.
Leslie is survived by her son Brian T. Gronau, his spouse Rebecca M. Gronau, and daughter Kyla N. Gronau (Lebanon, Ohio); brothers David D. Low Jr. (West Dundee, Illinois) and Larry D. Low (Safety Harbor, Florida), their spouses and children; best friends Sandy Clark (Hagerstown, Indiana) and Don Boelter (Noblesville, Indiana); and her two kitties, Figaro and Allegro.
