Lesi Hannah Tanner, 51, Indianapolis, passed away December 25, 2016. She was born June 4, 1965, in Indianapolis the daughter of Robert and Eva (Hambrick) Hannah.
Lesi graduated from Carmel High School and earned an art scholarship to Ball State University. While attending Ball State, she met and fell in love with Blake Tanner. Lesi and Blake, along with their close friends, enjoyed spending time, listening to music, and creating many great memories at the No Bar and Grill in Muncie. Lesi and Blake were married August 29, 1992, and their family was completed in 1997 with the arrival of their son, Logan. Lesi was a devoted and loving mother, taking great pride in being able to homeschool Logan. She was the #1 fan of the Indianapolis Colts, watching and attending games, and keeping up on all the statistics. She also enjoyed gardening and was a lover of all animals.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Blake Tanner; son, Logan Tanner; mother, Eva Hannah; sister, Lori (Michael) Berg; father and mother-in-law, Leland and Marilyn Tanner; brother-in-law, Brent Tanner; nieces and nephew, Micole Berg, Robert (Alexandria) Berg, Josephine Tanner, and Jacqueline Tanner; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Piper. She was preceded in passing by her father, Robert Hannah; and maternal grandparents, Vernon and Aldean Hambrick.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
