Leonard Charles “Sunny” Britton, 71, passed away in Indianapolis on Monday, January 16 surrounded by his beloved family and co-workers.

Sunny was born on October 6th, 1951, in Indianapolis to Leonard E. Britton and Marilee (Figley) Britton. Sunny married Sandy Britton. After her passing, he met Jeannine Yant, and their first motorcycle date consisted of escorting two 11,000-pound beams harvested from the World Trade Center for a memorial dedication in Indianapolis on September 11th, 2011, and they were married on November 11th, 2011. They enjoyed a loving and happy marriage for 11 years, 2 months and 5 days.

Sunny is survived by Jeannine, daughters Christina Britton, Olivia Miller (John) and Natalie Bain, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters Darlena Brolin (Jim), Mary Lincoln, Sharon Gibson and brother Levi Britton. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sandy Britton.
