Lemuel Charles Jack of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away, surrounded by his family on November 4, 2024, at 91 years old. He was born in Tipton, Indiana on March 10, 1933, to the late Charles and Katherine (Stokes) Jack. Charles, as he was affectionately known retired as a Die Setter for Fisher Body with General Motor in Marion, Indiana. He was a former member of the Lions Club, Valley Mills Christian Church, and the United Auto Worker Local #977. Charles had various interests which included coin collecting, collecting St. Clair Glass, playing Euchre, watching Indiana University Basketball, being a huge fan of Coach Bobby Knight, and spending time with his loving family. Charles proudly served his country in the United Sates Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Bulah “Boots” Jack, his children, Kathy (Jim) Newman, Rusty (Karol) Jack, Reuty (Kathleen) Jack, his grandchildren, Derrick, Danielle, Nick, Lindsay, Deanna, Malinda, his great grandchildren, Elliot, Remington, Everett, Max, Ruby, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Charles’s life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, 12:00pm at Valley Mills Christian Church 5555 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, IN. A social hour will follow the service in the church’s Family Life Center. In lieu of flower the family request that memorial gifts be directed to Valley Mills Christian Church.
