LCDR Robert W. Hoffman Sr.

89, of Fishers, passed away November 12, 2016. Bob was born in The Bronx, New York and graduated from New York State Maritime Academy in 1947 with the rank of Ensign. He served 22 years with the United States Naval Reserve and earned the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Bob served in the Korean War on the Destroyer USS Hank.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores of 68 years; four children, Bob Jr., Debbie (Renie), Roy, and Randy; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., with calling from 1 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). Immediately following, all are welcome to attend a celebration of Bob’s life at the American Legion in Carmel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to H.V.A.F. Carmel American Legion Aux. or Pets for Vets.
