Laurence "Larry" David Fontaine

Larry, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. With a heart full of kindness and unwavering loyalty, he dedicated 56 wonderful years to his wife, Sandra. In their early years, they nurtured their marriage through Bible study and Marriage Encounter, laying a strong foundation of faith and love. Together, they raised seven remarkable children and cherished every moment with their 13 grandchildren. Larry had a servant's heart, always ready to help others, including strangers, and his warmth and generosity touched everyone he encountered. A true lover of all things Michigan, he will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love he shared and the memories he created.

Larry is survived by his wife Sandra, and seven children: son Jamie (Michelle), son Larry (Anna), daughter Nikki, daughter Heather (Matt), daughter Megan, son Jeff (Mandy) and son Zach. 

Larry and Sandy were blessed with 13 grandchildren: Josh, Jake, Emily, Patrick, Nathan, Jordan, Aidan, Flannery, Riley, Mya, Audrey, Grace and Byron. 

All are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday, September 26th from 5-7pm at Flanner Buchanan - Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St. Zionsville, IN 46077 and on Friday, September 27th from 10-11 at St. Monica Catholic Church 6131 Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46228. A Requiem Mass will immediately follow from 11-12.
