Laura Lippard (Bridges) was born to Virginia and Larry Bridges on August 1st, 1962 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was the middle sister of 3 girls. She grew up and established her life in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her first job was working retail at Marshalls.
Laura graduated from Northwest High School in 1980. She later was blessed with 5 children. She worked and raised her kids with love, patience, and humility. Laura was a mother who always incorporated fun in their childhood, making handmade Halloween costumes for them each year and showing up to every sporting event. Indeed, Laura was a very busy woman, but being a mother was her favorite job in the world. In fact, her kids were her entire world. She met and married the love of her life, Dave Lippard, in 2005. Together, they beautifully blended their families and built a life they loved for the past 17 years. While she did most things with Dave, anyone close to Laura knew she found joy in rearranging furniture and decorating (and re-decorating) their home. She also loved to read and just started getting into plants. She and Dave enjoyed arcade bowling, throwing darts, and traveling when they could, but their most favorite thing to do was spend time with their grandkids. Family truly was everything to Laura. Laura retired from IPS Food Service after 20+ years of service and returned to working at Marshalls in Avon post-retirement. Laura spent her life loving, supporting, and showing up for her family and friends. She was kind, funny, patient, and ready to help anyone who needed her; but one of Laura’s most incredible traits was her optimism. Somehow, Laura always found the silver-lining, regardless of any situation or hardship. She saw good and smiled through it all. Laura will truly be missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Laura is survived by husband Dave Lippard, mother Virginia Bridges, father Larry Bridges, sons David Lane (Lo’an), Eric Lane (Diane), and Allen Lane, daughters Nicole Lane and Leslie Cooney (Joe), step-daughters Rachel Eastman (Garett), Nikki Bailey (Ryan), and Amanda Radican (AJ), along with 8 grandchildren and a grandson on the way, sisters Ronnie Hall and Kathy Barton.Friday, September 23, 2022
