After over 2.5 years of battling like a true warrior, our beloved Laura Christine Menner, age 32, was called home by her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2022, in the comfort of her childhood home surrounded by family.
Laura was born on June 26, 1989, to Keith and Terry Menner. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and smiled the moment she entered the world. Laura had a vivid imagination and a strong curiosity for life. Everyone will miss the enthusiasm and bright spirit that Laura brought to all things.
Above all, Laura wanted to help others. Even in her own fight against lung cancer, she was always spreading knowledge, sharing her journey, and encouraging others. She truly wanted it to help everyone, no matter what they faced. And she did so!
Laura had such a passion for helping others that led her into pursuing Physician Assistant School, soon to realize that she wanted to take the more integrative approach to helping people with medicine. God also laid a not-for-profit on Laura’s heart to help those struggling with disease. She was a dreamer!!
Laura had an immensely strong faith in Jesus that she loved to share it with others! She enjoyed deep and meaningful conversation. Her connections with others were endless; she touched so many people. Her light has shone further than we know and will continue to shine bright.
Some of Laura’s favorite moments included cheering in high school and in college at Ball State. Joking around with her friends and using her gymnastics skills brought Laura joy. She loved all things design. She also enjoyed dressing up and for others to be well dressed alongside her.
Laura is survived by her parents: Keith and Terry Menner, Sisters: Lindsey (Andrew) Brubaker, Haley Menner and Ashley Menner; her grandparents: Joe and Roena Milan; close companion: Bryan Sandefur; uncles: Ken (Sandy) Menner, Kurt (Lisa) Menner, Greg (Theresa) Milan, Mike (Caroline) Milan; aunts: Renee Pfefferle, Melanie (Donnie) Childers, Karen (Mark) Monar, Lisa Milan Webb, Julie (Frank) Wright; and her loving cousins.
