Larvetta Kincy

LARVETTA JOANN KINCY was the daughter of Ernest Adams and Anna Frances Sylvia Adams and was born on November 2, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was one of six children and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. In her youth she attended Crispus Attucks High School. After High School she lived in both California and Germany for several years before returning to live in Indianapolis.

Larvetta retired from AT&T and also enjoyed being a realtor. She was fondly known as Joann or “Aunt Jo Jo.” Larvetta was a very proud supporter of breast cancer awareness as a cancer survivor. Larvetta enjoyed attending Adams Family Reunions, watching sports, traveling, skating and was a life-long swimmer and loved dogs.

Larvetta departed this life Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 39 years husband Joel Kincy; sister Artricia M. Brown; and survived by her siblings Sylvia Davis (James ‘Benjie’), Ernest ‘Sonny’ Adams, Tommie Harrington, and Carolyn Adams and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
