Larry William Houldson, 77, of Speedway, passed away peacefully January 28, 2021. During his illness, his loving wife of nearly 44 years, Mary Houldson, only left his side to allow for family visitation restrictions implemented by hospice regulations.
Larry was born in Clinton, Indiana to Scott and Marjorie (Adams) Houldson. He was a member of Speedway Christian where he served as deacon, elder, and church treasurer. He worked for over 39 years for General Motors /EDS/Hewlett Packard as a data processing manager and supervisor, retiring in 2003.
Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Montgomery. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Mary (Murdock) Houldson, his children, Kirk (Lori) Houldson, Scott (Malisha) Craney, Melinda Powers (LonE Van Horn), Jeffrey (Michelle) Craney, and Karen (Dan) Albert. They have been blessed with 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Calling will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Speedway Christian Church from 10:00am-Noon, immediately followed by the funeral service.
