Larry Wayne Horton

Larry Wayne Horton, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 17, 2019. He was born on August 10, 1952 in Bridgeport, California to Merle and Nora Irene (Wolford) Horton.

Larry served his country in the United States Army from 1972 – 1974. After the Army he held several positions in the construction industry in Sales and Operations Management. He was a member and 1987 Chairman of the Indiana Mason Contractors Association. He also enjoyed boating, politics, cars, Corvettes, science/technology/engineering/math, and music, including playing the piano, trumpet, and guitar.

Larry was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Larry Duke. He is survived by his parents; children: Christopher (Katherine) Horton, Devon Horton, and Jesse Morris; his siblings: Pamela (Larry) Jensen, Richard Horton, and Judy (John) Cooksey; and his life partner, Cheryl Morris.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 3pm on Monday, December 23, 2019 at First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 E 25th St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A Funeral Service will follow visitation at the church at 3pm. Donations in Larry’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
