Larry Rudolph Brechbuhl

Larry R. Brechbuhl, 69, of Carmel, IN passed away on June 23, 2018. Larry was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 9, 1949 to parents, Rudolph Abraham and Margie Pauletta (Kitchens) Brechbuhl. He graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Lambda Chapter. He was also a proud Eagle Scout.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather (“G”), brother and friend. He loved to travel, drive fancy cars, walk the dog, talk to strangers (or anyone, really), and was always, always smiling. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Jane (Franklin) Brechbuhl, whom he married on August 20, 1977; children: Brian David Brechbuhl (Stephanie), Bradley Scott Brechbuhl (fiancé, Jennifer Cockshott) and Brittany Ann Brechbuhl; grandchildren: Conrad David and Zoe Elizabeth Brechbuhl; brother, Donald Lee Brechbuhl (Leigh Ann); nieces, Brianna and Bethany Brechbuhl; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Margie Pauletta Brechbuhl, as well as two brothers, Charles Mark Brechbuhl and Alfred Dale Brechbuhl.

Visitation will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018 and additionally from 10am until 11am on Friday, June 29th at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). His funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Friday at 11am in the Conner Suite. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
