Larry Lee Wagner

Larry Lee Wagner, 83, of Fishers, IN, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022. He was born on January 17, 1939 in Columbus, IN, to the late Lawrence K. and Irene O. (Miller) Wagner.  He graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette and worked at Eli Lilly for the majority of his career, retiring from DowAgrosciences in Production Planning after 36 years.

Larry was a member of Legacy Christian Church and was actively involved for many years in Christian Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling with his wife, Becky, prior to her death, reading, and above all, spending time with family.  Larry volunteered his time for many causes including building houses for Habitat for Humanity.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Karen Egelske (Brett), Debbie Bopp (Chris) and Beth Keller (Jack); grandchildren: Justin and Rachel Egelske, Jordan and Lauren Bopp, and Mary, Zack and Austin Keller; and two brothers Richard Wagner (MaryAnn) and Keith Wagner (Kathy) and one sister JoAnn McMichael (Larry).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca J Wagner, his parents, and his brother, Edward Wagner.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, June 25, from 12 noon to 2 pm, with a Celebration of Life at 2 pm, both at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, 3737 Waldemere Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241.
