Larry Joe Cragun
83, of Martinsville, Indiana, went to be with Jesus on October 19, 2021. Larry was born February 19, 1938, in Marion, Indiana. He attended Frankfort Pilgrim College, where he met his wife, Marilyn, of 58 years. He worked at Western Electric for nearly 20 years, and also did various types of church work. Together, he and his wife pastored Pilgrim Chapel Church for 20 years. In later years he was a member and board member at Gateway Chapel, in Martinsville.
Larry loved spending time with his family, including lots of board games. He also enjoyed bike rides and long walks, and was an avid garage sale shopper. He spent much time praying for all of his family, and the prayers will be greatly missed.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Cragun, and his parents, Albert and Beatrice Cragun. He is survived by his children, Rhonda (Dan) Dubbeld, Ray (Victoria) Cragun, and Greg (Misty) Cragun, 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm, and service will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11 am, both at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
