Larry Eugene Mcgill

Larry Eugene McGill, 76 of Indianapolis went to his Heavenly home on January 25, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis to Eugene and Ellen McGill on July 5, 1939. Larry graduated from Decatur Central High School on June 6, 1957 where he played football, basketball and baseball. After high school, Larry served in the US Military, completing a six year tour of duty with the Air Force as a Radio Operator. He was honorably discharged in Okinawa, Japan in 1962.

After 40 years as an Electrician with Rolls Royce (Allison Division), Larry retired in 2002. He was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #669 and a member of the First United Evangelical Church in Indianapolis.

Larry is preceded in death by two sons, Michael L. and Carl L. McGill. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 1/2 years, Ruth McGill, daughter, Mary Goad, son, Edward A. McGill, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
