Larry Allen Wright

Larry Allen Wright, 78, of Westfield, passed away December 25, 2022.  He was born August 9, 1944, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Lee Orville and Gwendolyn Bernice (Hiatt) Wright.

He graduated Valedictorian from Eastern High School where he met his sweetheart, Georgina Wilke.  After graduation they attended Purdue University, where they would marry on October 9, 1963.  Larry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, which led him to a successful career with General Motors/EDS.  He retired as Vice-President of Account Transitions in 2004.  He and Georgina enjoyed retirement by traveling the globe and splitting their time between their Indiana and Florida residences.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Georgina Wright; their three daughters, Lisa (Craig) Eubank, Teresa (Marc) Dixon, and Missy (Michele) Meregaglia; son-in-law, Mike Svec; four grandchildren, Zach Svec, Brayden Svec, Tucker Dixon, Alex Dixon; and a brother-in-law, Mike (Kathy) Wilke.  He was preceded in passing by his brother, Jack Wright.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Children’s Foundation or March of Dimes.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.  Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park.
