Kristopher Michael Jennings,39, Indianapolis, went home to be with his Lord on Aug 26, 2017. He battled a rare neuroserpin brain disease (F.E.N.I.B.) for many years and now, he is at peace.
Kris, graduated from Lawrence Central High school, Class of 97. He was a varsity wrestler and proudly wore his letter jacket which displayed his honors earned during his high school wrestling career.
He also participated in a Senior internship with Farrar Electric and Warren Central High School providing him with experience before attending ITT, where he later finished his education and pursued a career as an electrician with the Local Union IBEW 481, in Indianapolis.
Kris was a devoted friend and a loving son. He was full of energy and always had a “Never Give Up” attitude. He loved to work and play hard! He treasured his days of driving his John Deere tractor and drinking Mountain Dew! He was sentimental and saved many treasures…his electrician tool belt, his fishing pole, and his John Deere collectibles. He was an animal lover! He leaves behind his doggie, Carroll Burnett, his lizard, Bob and aquariums full of fish and other critters. He loved growing things, his garden and working in the yard. He loved relaxing with gratefulness at the end of the day, by a bon fire or on his porch with twinkling lights, the night sounds, and the gentle music from his collection of windchimes. He was always in such wonder at the world around him!! He was the true example of acceptance and grace….always with a kind gentle smile. He will be missed.
Kris is survived by his mother, Debbie Carrow Jennings Stephenson, his step-father, Jeff O. Stephenson, his sister Kayci Poplicean (Ryan Poplicean, his step-sister Becca Holman (Andre Holman), his step-brother Jeffrey Stephenson, and many other loving aunts and uncles, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Kris is preceded in death by his father, William Michael Jennings, his brother Kyle Robert Jennings, his uncle David Jennings, his Grandfathers, Eugene Carrow and Bill Jennings, his Grandmothers, Shirley Jennings, Ruth Carrow and Step-Grandmother Sandy Jennings.
