Kristopher J. Childers

Kristopher J. Childers passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2022 at the age of 48.  Kris was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 5, 1973.  He graduated from Greenfield High School and worked as a truck driver with Service Partners in Indianapolis at the time of his passing.

Kris loved watching movies, traveling, classic cars, woodworking, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends.

Kris was preceded in death by his mother, Delinda (Hare) Childers.  He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Bentley) Childers, whom he married on July 7, 2018.  He is also survived by his children, Dustin Surber, Karly Miers (Ryan) and Morgan Childers; step-children, Maris, Megan, Meredith and Mikey Higgins; grandchildren: Jack, Ward and Eloise Surber and Lincoln, Sophia and Sawyer Miers; his dad, John Childers; brothers, Marc Childers, Todd Childers (Jessica), Michael Childers (Sharon) and Dieter Childers (Heliana); sister, Julia Haste (Josh); nieces, nephews and other loving extended family members and beloved friends.

Calling will be held from Noon until 2pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Rd, Westfield, where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 2pm.  Burial will follow services in Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
