Kristina Lynn Knapp (Oldson) (October 2, 1976-August 13, 2022) lived a beautiful, joyful, and generous life. Kristie was a compassionate and devoted wife, loving and caring mother, sweet and beautiful daughter, sister and aunt, and fiercely loyal and devoted friend. She made a positive impact on everyone she encountered. Her husband Ben adored her and together, they taught their son Hayden and daughter Brea integrity, loyalty, and compassion. They imbued them with the confidence to live their lives to the fullest, just as she did.
Kristie was born in North Carolina to Laura Dudley and Randall Oldson. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1994 before moving on to obtain her Associates Degree in Medical Assistant from MATC, and her Associates Degree in Surgical Technology from Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. After earning her degree, she passed her Certification test and started her position at Community East in Indianapolis where her coworkers quickly became her family. Even in her battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Melanoma, battles which she won, she was an example of strength, love, compassion, and a fighting spirt, with a selfless heart and infectious smile. She gave grace to everyone. May the grace and light of her life shine on for all of eternity.
