Krisann Hagan, 64, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2020. She was born on September 15, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN, to Chris and Betty O’Sha.
Krisann graduated from Warren Central High School and studied at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. For the past 20 years, Krisann was a paralegal at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (formerly Faegre Baker Daniels LLP), where she worked in the business litigation and product liability practices. Krisann was recognized on the Faegre Baker Daniels Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2019 and earned the Baker & Daniels community service award in 2009 for her assistance in providing pro bono legal services to Holocaust survivors in Indiana.
A talented artist, Krisann embraced new outlets for her creativity at every opportunity. She loved to sketch, paint, make jewelry, and crochet. She had a huge heart for animals and spent much of her time during the COVID-19 lockdown crocheting blankets for shelter dogs. Krisann was unfailingly generous—she never went anywhere without bringing a gift and never let a visitor leave her house empty-handed. She loved to travel, and particularly enjoyed exploring Italy with her lifelong best friend, Cheryl Platt. Her husband and daughter were the center of her world, and they will miss her every single day.
Krisann is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Kevin Hagan; daughter Heather (Michael) McVeigh; mother Betty O’Sha; sisters Kimberley (James) Coplen, Michele (James) Alyea, and Janet (Lanny) Slifer; brother Barry O’Sha; sisters-in-law Pat O’Sha, Robin Miller and Corinne Hagan; brothers-in-law Randy and Chris (Suzette) Hagan; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Chris O’Sha, and brothers Bud and Steve O’Sha.
