Komsan "Joey" Khateanant Huffines

On Sunday, November 29th, 2020, Komsan Khateanant Huffines, age 56, passed away at home after a year-long battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, April Ratchany Huffines and his two children, Tummaraht Nathan Huffines and Oomaporn Megan Huffines. He is also survived by his adoptive father, Emery Huffines, numerous siblings and extended family who live all around the world. He is preceded in death by his biological father, Somchai Khateanant, his mother, Anong Huffines and brother, Walter Huffines. He was a hard-working person who always kept family as his priority.

He was born in Roi Et Province, Thailand on December 19th, 1963. He moved to the United States in November 1978. In 1987, he graduated from Purdue University and worked as a pharmacist throughout his career. His career ended as a NICU pharmacist at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was around the house or in the garage fixing up cars. He did a lot of volunteer work at the Thai Buddhist Temple in Indianapolis, IN. He also enjoyed traveling with his family, as he went on numerous trips to Thailand and other parts of the world. He loved relaxing on cruises that became tradition for his wedding anniversary with his wife.
