Kimberly Sue Graham,
52, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 1, 2018. Kim was born on December 24, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John Shelley and Brenda Moran.
Kim attended Speedway High School where she met the love of her life, Rick, at the tender age of 15. She remained on the west side of Indianapolis and began working at both Rhodes and McClelland Elementary school. She was named Lunch Lady of the Year in Wayne Township. She also worked as a Teacher’s Aid in her early years. Kim was currently working at Plainfield High School as a custodian. Kim could be remembered by her outgoing and welcoming attitude. She saw the good in everybody and accepted others for who they were. Kim loved to go on walks to with her husband, garden with her daughter, and take care of others—including stray animals. Kim loved animals, children, but most of all her family. Her smile lit up any room she was in. Kim was compassionate, generous, and a person we should all strive to be. She will be missed terribly by everyone.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, John Shelley; grandfather, George Talkington; grandmother Jean Talkington; cousin, Casey Perry; and fur babies, Neko and Fluffy. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Rick Graham; mother, Brenda Moran; dad, Tom Moran; children, Ashely Graham (Ricky Slinker), Cody Graham and Scott Graham; grandson, Brayden Slinker; and fur baby, Carl Capone.
Date and times of visitation and services will be posted shortly.
