Kimberly Ann Motter, age 63, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15th 2023 surrounded by her family after a hard battle with Leukemia. Flowers and condolences may be offered at the funeral home, and memorial contributions in Kimmie’s memory can be made out to The Julian Center or to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Kimberly was born on September 3rd 1959 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania to David Motter and Patricia Keen-Fleck. She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1977 and pursued her education further and graduated from Penn State University in 1981 with degrees in Microbiology & Biochemistry

Kimberly is survived by her mother Patricia Keen Fleck, Step father John Fleck, sister Karen Jarosz & husband Rod Jarosz, two children Ashley & Christopher McNally, the father of her children Alan McNally & partner Nicki McKinney, Step sisters Jody Jones & Nora Whatley, David’s partner Midge Probst. Her nieces & nephews Whitney Jarosz, Grace Motter, Sam Motter, Kevin Whatley and Great Nephew, Brennan Ryan. Kimmie is superseded in death by her father David Motter, her brother Michael Motter, and Niece Mackenzie Jarosz.

Besides spending time with her family, Kimmie had passion for planting flowers, reading, riding bikes on the Monon, going to art festivals, having girls night out with friends, spending time with her cat, and rooting for her favorite teams; The Yankees, Penn State, and Kansas City Chiefs. Kimmie was able to travel 11 international countries and was able to accomplish so many things during her lifetime. She was involved in projects such as working with NASA, went to Russia to work on medical research with monkeys and rats, and a Hoffmann LaRoche employee for 35 years in the diagnostic, diabetes, and clinical trial divisions for the USA and Switzerland. Kimmie will always be remembered as a vibrant, strong, and caring individual.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday March 27 from 10am-1pm for a Public viewing at Flanner Buchanan- Carmel Funeral and Cremation located at 325 E. Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN 46032.
