Kim Small

Kim Small, 60, passed away on November 10, 2020 surrounded by friends and family at her home in Indianapolis, IN.

Kim was born in Chicago, IL to Robert and Dolores (Zielinski) Small on 1/1/1960. She graduated from Northern Illinois University and got her Masters of Social Work at Indiana University.  She worked as a social worker for various employers including Community Health Network and New Perspectives of Indiana.

Kim is survived by her loving wife of 38 years, Marilyn Griffin; her children, Madeleine Griffin, Zachary Griffin, and Katherine Griffin; her sister Kelly Gavin (Edward); and her brother Michael Small (Danielle).

Kim had an unmatched zest for life. She loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. She was an avid traveler who enjoyed riding her bike, spending time at the beach, and all things Disney. She loved to gather friends and family. The world is a better place for having had her in it.

A private service will be held at the Oaklandon Unitarian Universalist Church.
