Kevin L. Miller

Kevin Miller, 62, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on the morning of January 1, 2022. Kevin was born on May 9, 1959 in Goshen, IN.

Kevin lived his life to the fullest and made a lasting impact on those he interacted with. He graduated from Northridge High School in 1977 and was a proud Raider for life, never missing a chance to break into singing their fight song when opportunity presented itself. After obtaining his Bachelors, and Masters, in Education from Ball State University, and Indiana University respectively, Kevin dedicated his life to educating elementary students. He spent all 41 years of his distinguished career in Washington Township Schools and touched many lives, students and coworkers alike. Kevin was highly respected and honored with many acknowledgments over his career.

Kevin’s proudest roles were those of beloved Husband, Father, and Papa. He married the love of his life, Cindy Holt, in 1984 and was a very active, present, and sacrificial husband and father who never missed a chance to provide a laugh, joke, or dance party in the kitchen and car alike. Kevin brought the same beloved traits to his 3 grandchildren of whom he was so proud. Although his absence is felt heavily, Kevin left quite a legacy and great memories that will be treasured forever.

Kevin is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters Mackenzie (Matt) Qualy and Kali Miller, grandchildren Eleanor Qualy, Evelyn Qualy, and Benjamin Qualy, his parents Alton (Marge) Miller and LaVerda (Don) McGowen, siblings Sandy (MaryJane) Miller, and Rex (Amy) Miller, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

There will be a small private family funeral, followed by a celebration of life party, in true Kevin style, this May.
