Kenny Baker

Kenny was born February 13, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to Carol (Spray) and Frederick “Ted” Baker. He passed peacefully in his home on September 9, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. He served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corp in Vietnam from 1968-1970. He worked as a machinist for 50 years, 25 at Rolls Royce. Kenny was married to the love of his life, Brenda (Cowden) Baker for 46 years. He leaves behind his wife, their 2 children Michelle (Trey) Reed and Mike Baker, grandson Rodney, and 2 great-grandchildren Harleigh and Liam, 2 brothers David (Julie) Baker and Ronnie Baker, and sister Sondra Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother Freddie, his father, stepfather Bill Sorrells and mother. Kenny was an avid billiards player, loved fishing, and craftsmanship wood working. Visitation at Flanner Buchanan Speedway on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. with funeral service at 12:00 pm, followed by a graveside service with full military honors at Crown Hill Cemetery.
