Kenneth R. Schultz, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
He was born on April 5, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Joseph J. and Iva (Mullinex) Schultz. Ken was an honorably discharged Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked in the warehouse for Johns Mansville for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Mildred (Baker) Schultz; son, Terry Burris-Schultz; daughter-in-law, Sherry Burris; Josh Schultz and Jinnenne Orman; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren; 3 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his siblings; and son, David Schultz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East from 11am – 1pm with funeral services immediately following. Entombment with military honors will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery. Ken’s family wishes to acknowledge the entire staff of Franciscan Hospice House, especially Dorrie; and all the caregivers who have assisted the family during Ken’s illness.
