Kenneth Ray "Kj" Carter, Jr.

Kenneth Ray “KJ” Carter, Jr. of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 40. 

He was born May 13, 1981 in Bedford, Indiana to Kenneth Ray Carter, Sr. and Valarie Carter. 

KJ founded Aadvanced Limousines in 2005 with his sister, Kristie. He embraced his entrepreneurial spirit, eventually leaving his full-time position as an electrician and building Aadvanced with Kristie. 

KJ was kind, generous, funny, adventurous, and passionate about his family and business. He loved making memories with his family and friends. Boating, spending time on his farm and surprise adventures were some of his favorite things to do. 

He enjoyed watching others grow, learn and he was quick to offer advice if he thought it may help someone. 

KJ was one of kind and will be missed by so many. 

He is survived by his wife Linda Carter; children Mekayla Dodson and Dylan Carter; father Kenneth Ray Carter, Sr. (Kathryn Kirby); sister Kristie Carter (Ruben Ayala); nephew Alexander Ayala; step-father Joseph R. Kerstiens.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Valarie Faye Carter; Uncles Todd Carter and Daniel Carter; Grandmother Norma Carter; Grandfather Peter Carter.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 from 12 Noon to 4 PM at the Community Life Center at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.  Funeral Services will begin at 4 PM. Celebration of Life with Dinner being served to immediately follow at The Silver Centre Event Hall, 10202 E Washington St Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN 46229. 

Shuttle service every 30 minutes from Conrad to Community Life Center from 2:30PM – 4:00 PM. Shuttles to Celebration of Life Dinner starts after service from Community Life Center. Shuttles to hotel to begin at 6:00PM and depart every 30 minutes.
