Kenneth B. Poole, 87, of Noblesville passed away November 3, 2023. He was born April 18, 1936, in Cheektowaga, New York, the son of the late Allan and Marjorie (Rockefeller) Poole. He married Honey (Perry) Poole on February 9, 1974.
Ken began his adult life serving in the Navy. He was the first college graduate in his family and went to Buffalo State University where he received his bachelors. He received his masters and administrative license from Butler. Ken had a passion for youth and education and served in IPS for 40 years, ending his career as principal at Manuel High School. After retiring in 2005, Ken loved spending time with his granddaughter, Regan and dog, Cooper. On Sunday’s, he would proudly cheer his Colts on from his seats in the Old Dome & Lucas Oil.
Kenneth Poole is survived by his wife, Honey Poole, brother, Edward Poole, daughters Heather and her husband, Bill Wolfe, and Regan Poole, stepson, Dwight Wheeler and his wife, Lisa Berry, sister, Patti Miller, and grand daughters, Hannah Wolfe and Lucy Wheeler.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
