Kenneth M. Dorris

Kenneth M. Dorris, 90, of Camby, Indiana passed away January 4, 2022. He was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on March 2, 1931 to the late Reglas and Ruth (Farmer) Dorris. Kenneth worked for many years at White Evans Elevator before retiring. He enjoyed going for rides in the car, Gospel Country music, eating corn and reading, especially history, he was always anxious to learn and share his knowledge with others. He was dearly loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Geneva D. Dorris, children, Larry (Debra) Dorris, Ricky (Patricia) Dorris, Steven (Tina) Dorris, Michael (Betty) Dorris, stepchildren, Charles Dorris, Robert Dorris, Geneva Whitinger, 5 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and his brother Gerald (Elizabeth) Dorris. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary A. Dorris, a grandson and a great grandson. Services will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township with visitation there on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 4:00pm-8:00pm and Thursday, January 13, 2022 10:00am-12:00pm. He will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. Memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
