Kenneth Johnson

Kenneth Johnson, age 81 of Spencer, Indiana passed away on Monday night, August 12, 2024.

Kenneth was born on May 10, 1943 in Barberton, Ohio, a son of Willard Kenneth and Burchie May (Conner) Johnson.

He was married to Nancy L. (Morrow) Johnson. She preceded him in death on February 7, 1999.

He is survived by him and Nancy’s three children: Jeff (wife Karen) Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pam (husband Michael) Denney of Elletsville, Indiana and Jennifer (Robert Langdon) Johnson of Poland, Indiana.

Three grandchildren: Benjamin Johnson, Karly Johnson, and Thomas Denney.

Kenneth's father Willard Kenneth Johnson had 17 children.  Betty, Francis, Reba and Kenneth from his first wife Berchie May Conner.

Jean, Jim, Wayne, Ples, Nancy, Patsy, Willard, Don, Dale, Lesha, Luci, Linda and Julie from his second wife Erma Hickey.

He is preceded in death by Betty, Francis, Ples, and Nancy

Reba, Jean, Jim, Wayne, Patsy, Willard, Don, Dale, Lesha, Luci, Linda and Julie all survive.

Many nieces, nephews, other family members and relatives also survive.

He is preceded in death by one granddaughter in infancy: Kaitlyn Johnson.

Kenneth worked at General Motors throughout his professional career, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed many years of retirement.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

His funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Kenneth's brother Jim Johnson will officiate the service.

Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery where Kenneth will be laid to rest with his wife Nancy Johnson.
