Kendra L. Black, 45, Carmel, went home to be with her Lord November 22, 2021. Kendra went home the same way she lived, with a a smile on her face and determination in her soul. Whether it was fighting for her brother on a school bus or hurdling a counter to preform CPR at an urgent care, she was always fighting for those she felt needed her help. She would be the first to admit that she had her moments. She never wanted to be remembered as a saint, but she is our angel now. Kendra is now helping prepare our eternal home, cleaning everything once and then cleaning it again. Not because it needs it, but because that is just who she is. Passionate beyond words and loving without measure, she will be missed immensely, but we will all be together again soon. And how we will all rejoice in the Lord when that day comes! This is not good bye. This is only the beginning.
Survivors include her fiancé, Keith Broughton, children Brittany Clay (Travis Clay), Audrey Black, and Danny Pearson-Black, and grandchildren, Cailyn Clay, Emma Boden, and Hazel Pakinas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grit into Grace, 11650 Olio Rd, Fishers, IN 46037.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 29th at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, from 12-2pm. Funeral services will begin there at 2pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
