Kathy Rix

Kathy Rix, 55 of Fishers, passed away on March 13, 2017.

Kathy was born on January 18, 1962 in Muncie to Richard Oren and Joyce Young. She worked as a legal assistant for Schuckit & Associates in Zionsville for many years and cherished the friendships she made while working there. Kathy loved the water, being in the sunshine and working in her garden. She had a kind and generous heart that she shared with others, but above all she loved being a mother, and grandmother.

She leaves behind her son, Cory Rix (Christina); grandson, Bodhi Keel; mother, Joyce Young; brother, Rick (Kathy) Oren; sister, Beth (Mark) Thompson; nephews, Keith and Kyle Oren; grandfather, Robert F. Whiteside; aunt, Patricia Kennedy; uncle, Robert E. Whiteside; and many other family members.

A celebration of life will take place 2:00pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017 with visitation from 11:00am-2:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East.
