Kathy A. Pritchard February 6, 1949- October 9, 2021 1967 Graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School Little was known about mental illness, specifically schizophrenia, in the 1950’s-1960’s. Kathy’s natural musical talent shined as she played the violin and the piano throughout her life. Kathy’s love of animals and drawing kept her grounded as she lived with her mental illness. Her drawings became treasured works of art. Kathy became close to the staff at Lake View Manor over the past several years. It is comforting to know that she meant something to them and was not alone. Kathy, my mom, has finally been given peace. “You will always be loved”
