Kathryn I. Turner Mayfield

89, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 26, 2022.
Kathryn was born on November 12, 1932, in Indianapolis, to the late Harry L. and Verna I. Summers Turner.
Kathryn completed her education in the Indianapolis Public Schools System, having attended School #42 and, Crispus Attucks High School.
Kathryn was employed over 31 years with the Federal Government, including the U.S. Army Finance Center, the Veteran’s Hospital, the Internal Revenue Service and, retired from the U.S. Customs Service, on December 31, 1988.
She is survived by her 4 children, Cherryl, Larry, Kathy and, Lamont (Jackie); 3 grandchildren, Chante, Laurane, and Lorence Mayfield; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry L. Turner (Evelyn) and, sister Doris Jean Tunstall (Burt).
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m., on February 19, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery.
