Kathleen A. Riley

Kathleen Anne Riley, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday evening, April 1, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 16, 1955, to the late James and Evelyn (Crossen) Riley.  Kathleen was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She was an avid reader who enjoyed solving puzzles. 

Kathleen is survived by three sons, James (Carleen), Robert and Patrick Riley-Mercado; one daughter, Ryan Riley-Mercado; two grandsons, Logan and Lucas Riley-Mercado and one granddaughter, Lilly Riley-Mercado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcos Mercado. 

A memorial gathering will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana or to the Fred Rogers Institute.
