Kathleen Kay “Kathi” DeBruler Hodson Stanfield born September 26, 1961 in Indianapolis to Mary Skinner DeBruler and David “Jack” DeBruler. She died in her home Friday, March 3, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Ray Scott Stanfield; her son, David (Sara), her daughter Amanda “Amy” Rejko (Nick) of North Carolina, and her sister, Nancy DeBruler McCoy (Brian Summers) of Terre Haute. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alexandria, Logan, Connor and Emmalee. Kathi was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, her mother and her father, of which she was Daddy’s girl. She graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 1980 where she was a member of the Royals Marching Band drumline of which she was very proud. She also played the trumpet. She had lived in many places throughout her life, but loved the beaches in Delaware the most. Kathi was a beautiful soul and was full of love for everyone. There wasn’t a hateful bone in her body. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway 2950 N High School Road in Indianapolis with visitation being Friday, March 10 from 4 PM – 8 PM and Saturday March 11 from 8:30 AM until service at 10 AM. Graveside to follow at Floral Park.
