Kathleen Ann Page

Kathleen Ann Page passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 61.

Kathleen was born in Lafayette, Indiana on March 22, 1961. She was brought home from the hospital a surviving twin on a blustery, stormy winter day.  This was perhaps only the beginning of the many storms she would encounter throughout her life.

She was identified a precocious child early on  – eager to learn and a dancer at the age of 3. Kathleen loved to learn; she was a lifelong student.

She was proud to be an IU graduate.  In addition, she earned a paralegal degree and was currently earning a counseling degree.

Kathleen wanted to help people throughout her life.  She was President of her class in school.  She felt God had called her to be an adversary. She was an advocate for the underprivileged; a leader in whatever she was determined to do.

We feel that God called her home so that she could be used as an encourager to others who struggled for equality and dignity throughout their lives as she had.

She is survived by her parents Marvin Larris Page and Nancy J. Wiggin; sisters Karen Page and Kristen Haskett (Brian); niece Chelsea McCarty (Victor); and special friend Lori Marshall.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6 from 10 AM to 12 PM in Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will begin at 12 noon.  She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to your local Humane Society.
