Katherine L. Wetherald

Katherine L. Wetherald, 82of Indianapolis, had recently moved to San Jose, CA and passed away May 25, 2017. Katherine was born in Hillsboro, IN on April26, 1935 to the Late Jerry and Edna (Disney) Lind. She was a Registered Nurse at CommunityHospital East for many years and retired from Community East Family Practiceafter a career of more than 30 years. She was a longtime member of Irvington United Methodist Church and a pastmember of Indy Dancers.

Kathy is survived by herchildren, Sharon Jenkins-Hobbs of San Jose, CA and Jeff Wetherald ofIndianapolis; 4 grandchildren, Clinton and Travis Jenkins and Sierra and SamWetherald; 4 great-grandchildren, Allison, Hannah, Jason and Levi; her sisters,Melissa Murphy of Indianapolis and Geraldine Compton of Jacksonville, FL alsosurvive.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday,June 3, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. WashingtonSt., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until theservice time on Saturday. Entombment will bein Washington Park East Cemetery.
