Katherine "Jean" Routh

On January 5, 2023, Katherine Jean Routh joined her husband of 68 years (Robert W. Routh) in Heaven.
She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her loving
daughters, Vicki L. Rowe (Gary Rowe) and Sondra J. Krentler (David Krentler), two granddaughters, Kelli
L. Rowe and Lindsay N. Castetter (Ryan Castetter) and her great grandson Cole A. Castetter. She was a
loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading and knitting. Working in her yard was one of
her passions and she had one of the most beautiful flower gardens in the neighborhood. She enjoyed
watching all sports, but she was especially an avid IU basketball fan. The family has chosen a private
Celebration of Life. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in honor of
