Katherine Frances Wilkerson

Katherine Frances Wilkerson, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born on May 29, 1919 in Indianapolis as one of 6 daughters to the late William McKinley and Lillian (Flora) Cox. Katherine was a 1937 graduate of George Washington High School and worked as a Secretary for several Indianapolis area companies, retiring in 1971. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and was a member of the National Organ Society. Katherine is survived by her children, Susan Walke and David (Marjorie) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Mark Walke, Robert Walke, Kelly Daum, Todd Wilkerson; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Robert Wilkerson. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilkerson will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park at 1pm. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
