Karrie Ann Daugherty – Gordon

Departed this life on April 8, 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. She was 44 years of age. Karrie was born in Indianapolis on November 13, 1974. She attended Arsenal Technical High School. She was employed at Genesis Security L.L.C. as a supervisor of traffic.

Karrie is survived by her life partner, James McCarty of 19 years; mother, Janet Gordon; and 7 children: Michael Suggs Jr and family, Travis Woods and family, Athena Woods, Amber Clidinst, Mathew Hardy, Makayla Hardy, McKenna McCarty; and 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth L. Gordon; and 1 grandchild, Charles Woods.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 3-6pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10am also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Heart Association.
